The LCRA 'Funday' took place on Saturday 16th August 2008 from 1400 - 1700 at the Court.

There were some 35 children and 12 adults took part on a sunny afternoon (somewhat rare this summer!)

The Tennis Machine got a good workout to start with sending tennis balls flying over the net - occasionally over the end netting(!) when the adjustment was out, but all those who faced a 24-ball broadside came out smiling.  Obviously those tennis lessons run previously were put to good use.

Next up was Junior, then Senior Hockey under the watchful eye of Dave acting as coach, referee, and occasional target.......

The delights and intricacies of Netball were explained by Evelyn and a Junior and Senior match followed.

An exhausting day finished off with an extended football match, with rolling substitutions to allow for Juice and burger breaks.

All in all an excellent day with much improved weather over last year giving a good turn out, and a chance to see the court at it's best with many sports being sampled.
